notes 7 not responding

I am hoping to get some help. I upgraded to lotus notes 7 and since then when ever I get email that has images in the email such as hotel statements or anything that is suposed to look like a web page it locks up my notes. I get the not responding mesage in () if I wait long enoph it will eventualy come back but all the imeges are small red "x".
I called my componey help desk but after a run around they just closed the ticket without fixing it.
Any ideas?

If you get a red "x" in a small box, that generally means that the image was not included in the mail directly but as a reference, and Domino does not have the Internet access necessary to recover the image.
I don't know where to solve that one, but it would have to do with Domino access, the firewall and Internet. You will need to get the network team and the Domino admin on this to solve the issue.
