Notes 6 template not retaining frame sizes 1

After upgrading some users to use the Notes 6 template, a common complaint is that if they stretch the frames to suit them (e.g. Give greater width to the frame containing the folders so that folders with long names or nested folders can be read easily), once notes is reloaded, the frame sizes revert to default.

I have checked and this didn't happen using Notes 5 template.

Any help would be appreciated.

I also have this version of the client, but with Notes 5 template and my sizes are retained after restarting notes.

Check the database property on the Launch tab : Restore as last viewed by user.
Does that make a difference ?

Yes, kind of...
I didn't particularly want to use this setting as it takes you back to your last view or folder (as it should). But I tried it anyway and sure enough, the frame sizes were retained, but also the last view. So I turned the setting off and it reverted to opening my inbox by default, but guess what...? the frame sizes were retained and continue to be retained regardless of my stretching, shrinking and restarting of Notes!

I'll have to experiment with making the change on the template to get it to work like this by default.
