I did a search in my email inbox and it yields 100 results.
I took one of the results and place it in a folder not remembering that all 100 results would go to the folder. How can you move the 100 results back out of the folder and into the inbox again. Is their an easy solution to correct this problem.

No easy solution, there is no Folder Undo. Recovery will have to be manual.
You say that you have a folder, so I guess that you do have some existing folders. Why not create some more and do some proper sorting of your Inbox ? That way, you can avoid having a large Inbox.
Remember that every document that is saved in your mailbox is listed in the All Documents view. You can do searches there also.
