Notes 6.5.1 upgrade problem - 'Context toolbar not found...'

'...Bookmark design needs update.'

We've just upgraded from Notes 5, and after what seemed to be a problem free install, a few clients are showing this error message, which displays any time they attempt to access folders etc.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to the cause/resolution of this problem?

I've run into this a couple of time and just uninstalled the client, then deleted the lotus directory and did a fresh install. There maybe other ways but this works for me.

Just don't forget to copy the ID and address book out if you don't already have a copy of it.

Hello,

I would try two (2) things. First, Refresh the Design on Bookmark.nsf and restart Notes.

If that doesn't work, from one of the folders you get the error, Actions, Upgrade Design.

Remove the files bookmarks.nsf and bookmarks.ntf from the data directory. Move the rest of the data directory to another location. Uninstall notes and delete the Notes directory. Reinstall notes and copy the data directory back in. Start Notes and it should automatically rebuild the bookmark files.
