MY
I was using my notepad provided by window98 and suddenly the blue screen appeared and when i restart my pc i am not able to open any document in notepad form.I was wondering where can i download and reinstall the program?OR how to fix the problem?Thanx in advance!

Copy a fresh version of the notepad.exe file from the original cd's or cabs .
Since the program was open during the crash
maybe it got corruped .

Hi,

Click on Control panel click on add/remove programs ..select windows setup..and check whether the Accessories is ticked or not..deselect it and select it again..when prompted give the WIN;98 CD or path of the cab files..

I doubt that Notepad got currupted during the crash - it was probably Notepad that caused the crash.

Before doing anything I'd be inclined to run Scandisk in DOS and notlet it repair anything automatically.
