Hello,

I wondered how I can put the name of a column followed by '=' in front of all the entries in a certain column.
E.g. If the name of the column is 'color' and an entry is 'red', then 'color=red' should appear in the cell.

Afterwards I want to export the table to a text file and I hoped to keep it in this format.

Can anyone help me?

Greetings,

Tim

Did u try the Alias setting on the Table Design view? Although, "=" may not be permitted.??? htwh Steve Medvid

Make a query. In the column for color, instead of just having "color" enter this:
XColor: "Color: " & [color] =============
