I have goldmine 6.0 and it's working good except on one laptop. When the user syncs the calendar doesn't get sync to his laptop. I went through the settings and made sure everything is selected for all users for both send & receive and emailed the profile. Still no luck. Any advice?

I even tried generating a new instatllation file but that didn't change anything either.

Are the users listed in File>>Configure>>User Settings on the laptop?

The users need to be manually created on the laptop or if there is no problems seeing all users, copy over the user.* files from the server to the laptop.

When I click on 'file' 'configure' I don't see a 'users setting' option in there. I tried copying all the users files over anyways, and still no luck.

How can I create these users?

When I log in as master I can see the users under user settings. However I still can't see the entries in the calendar.

Can you see ay entries in the calendar? Even the laptop users?

If not check the BDE Administrator

Under the configuration tab

System>>Formats>>Date

check the mode is set for 0

I checked that setting and it is at 0. It will show any new items I added to the calendar, but none will be brought over from the server side.

Check the sync profiles on both the server and the laptop and make sure they are set to send and recieve the calendar information.

There is a GoldSync manual available from my website, that has been used by over 3,000 people to fix problems like this.

Sometimes you just have to erase and recreate to fix it, and it looks like you are there.

I tried deleting the user and adding him back in. However, I notice he didn't lose his calendar (on the server side). How can I totally delete a user and add him back in?

Can anyone else provide help? I'm really stuck here.

Have you checked the sync profiles for sending and receiving on both the server and remote?

Please remember to thank preople for their valuable input.

On the server I create the sync profile and send it to the user, where I install. Anything else I need to do?
