I know this is supposed to be for Exchange 2003, but I didn't see a 2007 forum, so I'm posting here.
We recently upgraded to Exchange 2007 and are having an issue with participants of an appointment getting mail with an attachment called not supported calendar message.ics.
I've read for awhile now about the issue and it seems like there are several differing camps on the issue.
The participants are getting emails and then one that follows with subject "Updated: " and the original subject line.
I read quite a bit about issues with 3rd party/unknown ical events being at issue and wondered if this might be the case.
I opened the "not supported" ical event and the PRODID has been changed from PRODID://-Microsoft Corporation//Outlook 10.0 MIMEDIR/EN to PRODID://RESEARCH IN MOTION/BIS 3.0.
Staff get mail and invites on their blackberry phones and use BIS.
At this point, I'm a little confused about where this may be breaking down.
Thanks in advance,
