Maybe I am doing something wrong but I have a main report that prompts the user for an account number and a start and stop date for the report period.
I have a sub report linked to the main report on the account number. When I run the main report there is a parameter choice for the account number on the subreport. How do I suppress the parameter for the subreport, I thought that it should already pick that up through the link process?

Thanks

You are correct, the sub-report should not prompt itself for the parameter value.

Perhaps just delete the link and re-create it? Brian J. Alves

Make sure that you link the parameter in the main report to the parameter in the subreport. Otherwise, CR adds parameters to the subreport. Open the subreport and see how many parameters there are, and which parameters are used in the selection formula. Ken Hamady
