I was successful splitting my database manually as per a suggestion on the forum whereas using the wizard would not work. It kept giving the message &quot;Script out of Range&quot;. The database seems to function okay; enties, editing, reporting, etc. However, I cannot make any design changes and save them. I get a &quot;not responding&quot; error after several seconds of waiting. I have imported the tables back to the other objects and still get the same results. I have also tried to compact and repair and it does the same thing. I have several modifications and enhancements to make. Has anyone got any suggestions?<br>

If you created a new db for the front or back end and kept the old one for the other end, and the problem is only with the old one, you can try creating a new db for that portion too. Create another new db, import all the objects from the problem db, and rename it to what the old one is named. I would rename the old one first, rather than delete it.

I moved hardware acceleration to zero and that seems to have solved the problem. Thanks.
