We are looking at implementing Not Ready Reason Codes for our customer service department. Currently they are using 3903 series phones. We are going to be switching them to the 3904 series to be able to do this. Can anybody tell me how to program the sets to be able to use the Not Ready Reason Codes? Thanks for any help.

if you print the cdb you will see the reason codes programed by nortel, you can modify those, the use the menu key on the phone to turn them on and off. i don't know of a class code that is required. one user at my site usually has the project deadline code displayed on his 04 when i call him, he doesn;t do it on purpose but you must need a forward or msb key to block calls, i see a reason code but he answers the phone.. i haven't changed the default, my site hasn't requested those
