Hey guys,

Kinda in a stupid pinch, I need to be able to log into a network share that I already saved former user and PW for. Since we are on a domain, I need to log in with admin level and saved a generic user and cant find where 7 saves them. I looked in Credential Manager but it only has info on the RDP connections and one saved switch.

Any idea where to look?

So far my way around it is to add the IP of the server to the list with an admin user and PW and search for the share by IP, this allows me to do it but doesnt answer my above question. If anyone knows where this info is saved in W7, please let me know.

Thanks

I would have thought that such information would be listed in Credential Manager, can you Add the information via -

Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Credential Manager\Add a Windows Credential - or don't you see that option either?

I see heaps of entries in Credential Manager. If you open up Credential Manger via typing in the Start Menu Run box - control userpasswords2 - and click on Advanced/ Manage Passwords, does that way of opening Credential Manager show you any different output?

Any clues in these semi related articles?
