I am trying to get a M2616 phone(A)to ring on key 0 and then on Key 1 then hunt to another M2616 phone(B)to ring on key 0 then on key 1. It should then go back to phone (A) and start the process again.

With the setup below, phone (A) rings on key 0 and then hunts to Phone (B) and rings key 0 and stays there. The phones are not hunting from key 0 to key 1.

Here is the current programming of phones (A) and (B):

HUNT is what occurs when a line is busy. FDN occurs if there is no answer. It sounds like you are using the terminology wrong, which will _always_ throw off the answer

Nonetheless, I think what you'll get what you want if you set each phone with CLS SFA

Thanks, CLS=SFA works. Calls now rings Phone A key 0 and then Phone B key 0 then return to ring Phone A key 0.

However, the phones are still not hunting up the keys. It should be ringing key 0 then key 1 on each phone before forwarding.

That is not going to work that way because in order for the call to hunt up the keys, key 0 needs to be in use.

Might I suggest changing the ring counter to something longer before it forwards. That is what you are trying to accomplish right? Say 6 to 8 rings before it goes to the next set.

Please confirm this:

A phone will never ring at key 0 then ring on key 1. It will only go to key 1 if key 0 is busy?
(Assuming LHK=1)

Correct, if you want it to ring on key 0 then key 1 if no one answers you would need to put key 1's extension at the Hunt prombt.

Normal Hunting up the keys is accomplished LHK and key 0 being busy.

Why don't you just change 2617 to a MCR (multiple call ring) instead of SCR and put it on both phones. Call comes in-rings on both phones-the 1st phone answers the 1st call, 2nd call in would ring on the other phone while the 1st line is busy instead of all that hunting.
remove FDN and HUNT and the calls can ring there forever.
Poor man's ACD

Luddy the problem comes in that you want the phones to roll to each other. You can only have one FDN unless you differentiate between internal and external calls. If you have the Key 1 DN as the FDN you can never roll to the other set. That is why I suggested changing the ring counters. It seems the only thing you were trying to do was to get the caller to ring longer at one set before going to the other.

I will make these suggestions to my client. Thanks again.
