Not got required prilileges to install driver??

Not sure which forum this should be on, try here first...

Fresh install of Window NT4 with SP6a, and I'm logged on as Administrator. Laptop has a SiS M650 video chipset. Tried a number of different video drivers, but get the same message when trying to install new driver:-

"The drivers were not successfully installed. You may not have the required privileges to install a new driver."

Since I am definitely logged on as Administrator, I take it that this message merely indicates I've just not found the correct driver yet...

Where did you get the drivers from?

Tried a goodly selection of drivers from the DRIVERGUIDE.COM site which claim to work for NT4. I have looked at the SiS download site, but none of them state they will work with that op system. I have in fact tried a few of the SiS drivers albeit they're not designated as suitable for NT4, but no joy. Whether I try SiS drivers or any others, I always get the same response "...You may not have the required privileges..." etc. I wanted to be sure that this really is a driver issue, not some weird NT4 response...

If anyone can point me to an NT4 driver for this chipset, I'd be very grateful.
