Not going to voice mail - Integration issue

We're working on a S8300/G450 with a IA770 voice mail.

When you call an extension, it goes to cover and then calls the covering extension. The covering extension rings and covers and then goes to voice mail.

The subsricbers won't go to voice mail?
Like the mailbox isn't seeing the digits on the cover?
What's wrong?

Take a look at your IA770 system parameters features, and specifically at CALL TRANSFER OUT OF AUDIX. If you are set to enhanced_no_cover_0, then calls will not follow call coverage once a caller zeroes out of Audix.

If it is set to enhanced_cover_0, then callers that zero out of an Audix mailbox will follow call coverage back to Audix.
 
did you follow the integration guide? did you setup the "public unknown" or "private" form with the extension #s, and trunk group, so you send it the 4 digit extension #? That's usually what the issue is, with the IA770...

Here is an example, from "list private" (you would do "change private")

list private-numbering

NUMBERING - PRIVATE FORMAT
Ext Ext Trk Private Total
Len Code Grp(s) Prefix Len
4 19 98-99 4

This sends any 19XX extensions, as 4 digit numbers to trunk groups 98 or 99. In this case trunk group 99 is the IA770.
