Hi,
My boyfriend and i are having probelms with our titles on our Adobe premier on an Mac computer, we havent got the instruction book and we dont know how to do transparent titles, please can you help us,
Thank you
Bree

You're gonna need a book. I recommend the "Classroom in a Book" series or "Premiere with a Passion." Both available thru Peachpit Press.

you don't need a book, there is a users guide that came on the disc with the program. You loaded it when you loaded the program. it's called " Premiere User's Guide ". Or,

Open your project.
Open the titling feature. make sure you don't cover the project window

drag the picutre from your playback monitor to your titling window. the picture will appear in the window. Make your titles. Save them. It will appear in your bin window as just the titles, with no picture. You can now place those titles over any picture you want.

To do a transparent title you have to put it at video 2.
Check the transparency at clip/video/transparency.
If you, using the premiere title program, have a title
with white background. You have to select "white alpha matte" as the transparency mode.
Another way is to use the photoshop program.
Premiere can recognize *.psd files and its transparency.
In this case, you have to select "alpha chanel" [sig][/sig]
