Hi,
I hope someone can help me. I have some spreadsheets which are on a shared network drive, and are accessed by multiple users, across multiple domains and sites. We are using a mixture of Office 2000, Office XP and Office 2007. There might be some Office 97 in there too!
For some reason, users don't get notification that the file is locked for editing if the person who is already in the file based on another domain or site.
Does anyone know why this might happen?
If this is something which 'just happens', does anyone know any easy way to manually check if there is another user in the sheet? I don't mind implementing some sort of VBA solution on the sheet, if someone can point me in the right direction!
Thanks,
Gizmo3k
