Once more OnStream has supprised me with a strange issue:

Our SC-30 tapestreamers eject the tape when the tape is full (software is NTBackup). This is normal behaviour!

With 30GB we have plenty of room for one normal backup and 6 differential backups. Total amount of data on one server for a whole week would be about 25GB.

But with this SC-30 the tape gets ejected during the first differential backup. This means that the tape is full even after not more then 10GB.

It has to be an issue with the streamer because the ejection happens with all tapes I tried (5 pieces).

I have had this problem with this SC-30 tapestreamer in two different servers.

Any ideas?
