Not enought storage to process command

We have a windows 2000 server. Frequently we get this error message:

The server was unable to allocate from the system paged pool because the pool was empty.

The only way to fix the error that i've found is to restart the server. i have looked at microsoft for a fix. nothing has helped.

its our dhcp server and also have symantec anti-virus on it as well. also houses our documents which get backed up every night

any idea on how to fix this error?

Hi checking Eventid.net found an issue with Symantec Antivirus causing this;
