not enough memory

Hello All,

I am getting error message "not enough memory continue without undo" in excel.
for getting the data from oracle server to excel sheet.Firstly I connect the oracle server from excel sheet(data-->get external data--->new datbase query---->from choose data source---choose the qery wizard).
after connecting a getting a some data I get the said error message.
Note:--In some of computer with same configuration of hardware and software those query are ruuning.

Almost all programs tend to leak memory, in that they utilise memory resources and then "forget" to give it back so that they can use it later. Eventually, the operating system assumes that all the memory is allocated to the program, while the program does not keep track of the memory utilization.

The only recourse is to close everything down after an hour or two and possibly restart the operating system.

WRONG irstuff!

Though that is mostly correct, you can also increase your virtual memory. This in essence gives you back the memory he says you lose. When that max's out, then you will have to physically add more memory.

Directions
Win 2000, (same idea in NT4.0, just a little different)

Right click My Computer>Properties>advanced>performance Options>click the change button and double your virtual memory size on initial size and maximum size on drive C:\ then click set and ok all open windows. Restart the computer. Hope that helps
