Not enough memory to run goldmine?? but I do!

hi all

a user of mine reports her laptop says nots enough memory to run goldmine. She has no other apps running, its a nice 1.8ghz lappy with a reported 504mb ram...........

Any ideas?

Sounds like another application running BDE. In which case in the BDE Administrator under configuration system INIT set the SHAREDMEMLOCATION (right hand side) to 5BDE or 6BDE and see if that works.
