Not Enough memory to complate the operation

Hi

I get a NOt Enough memory to complete the operation error when i run a report.

i have two applications which use CR 6.0 when i print the report in one application after printing another report in the other application i get this error.

when i print the reports individually in the apps i don;t get the error i use simple reports without any subreports.
These two reports are different ones and are not the same

please help me out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can increase the cash memory in your computer. Another way to handle it is you could break the report into few smaller pieces by breaking them down by different ranges. Second approach will be possible depends on how you are generating your report. Try the first approach first....

thanks for ther tip i tried increasing the cache but still i get the same message. when i debuggged my code i found that the function call to PEOpenPrintJob returns the error code 500 : Not enough memory to complete the operation.

Iam out of ideas now . can u suggest some other ways to avoide this problem.

What database are you running? I have seen this a couple times (different reports, different users) using Pervasive 2000 and CR8. We spent alot of time trying to troubleshoot it and finally what got rid of the error in both cases was to uninstall/reinstall Pervasive 2000. The only thing I can think of is that it is some sort of goofy odbc thing and and reinstalling clears it up.

Hi

Iam using Centura Gupta database (16 bit version) and iam using crystal reports 6.0. I get the error only in some of the reports and when i delete some Static text fields in the report i get the error intermittently. i have around 14 reports that give the out of memory error. And i get the error only when i run these reports.
