Not discovering some software on PCs

Hi,
I have an SMS (SP3) set up which is working very well I wondered if anyone could shed any light on this - out of around 500 PCs, SMS is only detecting Internet Explorer on 88 machines when I know for a fact that it is installed on all machines.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you verified that the SMS client components are installed on all devices (and that you're not just receiving DDRs)?

Have you verified that software inventory is running on all devices?

Do you query for iexplore.exe?
