Not counting junk mail in mail statistics

Is there any way to stop Eudora counting what it puts in the junk mail box as part of email statistics? I am sure I am not the only person who gets many more junk emails than genuine ones; hence the statistics are now totally worthless! Is there any way of changing or tweaking settings? Or (what with the junk filter as quite a new feature) might Qualcomm put such a feature in a later release?
