Not even sure I'm in the right spot to ask, but here goes. In all my years in the IT field, I've never come across or heard of anything like this.

I can only view 6 of 16 folders on the network drive with my W2K workstation. No settings on the workstation or network folder have been modified or changed.

All 16 folders view properly on my W2K3 workstation. Same network drive.

Using Novell network version 4.91.1.20050819.

Ran anti-virus scan, Spybot, Ad-Aware, rebooted and refreshed folder with no avail. Any ideas or help appreciated.

What about the NetWare server? You elude that you're running one but the version you mention is the Client, not the server.

There are only 2 reasons (maybe 3) for not seeing all the folders on a NetWare server:

- No permissions to said folders
- License count has been exceeded
- NDS is horked and not properly allocating resources.

NetWare security is pretty tight. Different than you are used to with W2K. For example, on Windows, even if you don't have access to folders, you still see them. On Netware, you will never see folders you have not specifically been given permission to.

Problem solved. The Win2000 workstation had Novell client version 4.91.1.20051209 SP1 and the W2K3 workstation had Novell client version 4.91.2.20051209 SP2. We upgraded to SP2 and now all folders display. Thanks for proding us in the right direction.
