I have recently rebuilt my entire SMS site - SMS2 SP4 on W2K DC as primary + 5 secondary sites also on W2K DC. So far my database has about 2500 clients that were detected including loads of workstations that are in the same domain but far away and won't be assigned to my sites (they have their own site hierarchy). Great sms is doing it's job. However on my one secondary site, only 3 clients out of about 100 have been detected and on a second site, about 8 from 100.
Whether they get assigned to a site is another issue, I just want them to be found first. Why are they not being detected? Oh yes, all discovery methods are enabled except for network discovery (too much traffic). I also changed heartbeat to every hour.
