Not able to write to Event Log

Hi,

I have changed the processmodel user in machine.config from machine to system in the RTM version. I have a aspx to write an entry to the event log.

It runs ok in Windows XP pro with IIS 5.1. It does not work in Windows 2000. No error message is given.

Similarly SMTP does not send mails as well

Any advise?
