Hello Guys,

I have a client that reported an issue that they cannot redial missed calls. In monitor, I found that there is no dial plan because the redialed number is missing 9 for an outside line. They are on SIP.
Is there a fix for this? I searched online and seems like this has been an ongoing issue.
Running version 11.0.4.2.0 build 58.

Thanks in advance!!

Prefix on the SIP line tab. That is probably what you are missing. I don't work enough with SIP yet to verify that but that is where I would start.

Dermis and feline can be divorced by manifold methods.*

budbyrd nailed it you need to prefix the SIP line with 9 so you can properly redial. Just be aware that this means all incoming calls will show 9+Number. Some customers hate that and would rather redial not work...

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

Adding the prefix also messes with the voicemail to email message. You get the email on your smart phone, and try to call them back by touching on the telephone number in the subject line, but now it includes extra digits and won't go through.

Have a look at THIS link, HOWTO: Enable application dialing without a 9 prefix
