Not able to print preview in IE 6

We are getting a really strange message when we do print preview in IE 6 sp 2. It won't show the document we're viewing instead on the page we see:

The document in this frame cannot be printed as laid out.

This frame will be printed separately.

If we try to print from the print preview we will get the document plus this error page.

If we print directly from IE we will get the document without the error page.

It's weird. I've checked all the settings and noticed that when I go to file\print\options All frames individually is checked and everything else is greyed out so I can't change it to As laid out on screen etc.

We're running IE 6 sp 2, XP sp 2.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any chance the webpage is cloaked? I've found this to happen on cloaked pages, but resolved it by removing the cloaking.
