Hi,
I have SBS 2003 server with 1 NIC connected to netgear router with 3 stations.

All the stations and server are able to go on the internet, but since past two days, the shared drive on the server is not accessible thru the stations.

Nor I am able to get a successfull ping result when i ping to the server. The ping between stations and the router is fine.

Pls help me where do I start to look for in resolving this problem.

Thanks!!

Post 2 ipconfig /all here, 1 from the server, 1 from a client PC

Are you pinging by IP address or by name?

Are all of your workstations pointed to the server for DNS? And is the server also pointed to itself for DNS?

This is required, and it's a common cause of the sort of problem you are having.

I ran the RRAS utility and it resolved the issue. For some reason the second nic card was activated while testing and it had start causing the issue. So had to disable the 2nd nic and run the RRAS utility from the Administrative tools to resolve.

Thanks for all your help.

Regards,
MJ
