Relatively new with Avaya Definity running G3siV9. AT&T added a new area code (442) to the present (760), but they also made it eleven digit (1+area code). I changed the AAR ANA to Min/Max = 11. I am not sure how to fix the inability to make international calls (specifically to Mexico). I did a list trace on a station and saw the dialed digits, seized trunk group, setup digits 01152686xxxxxxx#, proceed trunk group, etc. but call doesn't seem to go through. Would the 1+ dialing have any bearing on INTL calls?

The fix was changing ars ana international to public unknown.

Dialed Total Route Call Node ANI
String Min Max Pattern Type Num Reqd

011 10 23 P4 intl ____ n

is now...

011 10 23 P4 upub ____ n

I had this happen to me as well. AT&T removed the programming on the D-channel for international calls. So when the PBX marks a call intl the D-channel inserted 011. I did not delete the 011 so the call hits the network as 011011. The fix was exactly what you did. The upub send all digits without the intl flag. Therefore the extra 011 is not sent.

I love when they change thing with out notification. They will tell you they did not change a thing. RIGHT

Hope this makes sense
