Hi,

I am getting this error message on my Sun V210 server running Solaris 5.10

sshd[8980]: Kerberos mechanism library initialization error: unknown error.
Apr 11 16:45:54 neoss03-th sshd[8980]: libpkcs11: /usr/lib/security/pkcs11_softtoken.so unexpected failure in ELF signature verification. System may have been tampered with. See cryptoadm(1M). Skipping this plug-in.

Due to this ,I am not able to login to server using user accounts and neither am I able to su to these accounts from root.

Any idea ???

NavinB;

I took a quick look on this, I found a bug 6271018 which shows the same error you are seeing but it has no work around. The bug does not mention much and does not state anything about users not being able to log in. If you have a Sun contract I would suggest contacting them.

Thanks

Thanx...I too had a look for this bug but they don't have a workaround.....
This is a newly built server ...so I can build it again....

NavinB;

Did you load recommended cluster patch? might be worth a try.
