Not able to hear sound from Redhat linux 7.1

Respected Sir,
I am not able to hear sound from my linux O/S. My system configuration is,

Sound Card : Cmi83x8
Ram : 64 MB
Mother Board : Mercury 810efsfx

How to configure sound, plz...

run 'sndcfg' or 'sndconfig'

just type 'snd' and press the [TAB] character, you'll get a list. One of them is the Sound Conigurator. You'll need it to detect and setup the sound card.
