Not Able to Change to Hybrid/PBX Mode

I am not able to change my Merlin Legend CKE4 6.0 into Hybrid/PBX mode. Is there something I'm not doing right? Both WinSPM and the MLX-20L beeps at me when I select that mode. I have tried to factory reset both physically and by software. Please advise.

Your processor is probably in the "permanant Key mode". Look for a Dip Switch near the card connector of the board, one that had only 2 switches on it. Flip BOTH switches in the opposite direction, then see if you can change the mode. You can find more info if you download the installation/maintaince manual from the Avaya website for your particular system.
