HI everyone:

I am facing a problem I have PP 8600 with OS 3.5 version. I have logged in to the system using rwa password. but when I try to add OSPF route or enable OSPF globally from Device manager as the OSPF tab is not bold. same with DHCP.
Is there anything I need to set like flags or anything before doing that.
Thanks in advance

Mavvy

What version of Device Manager do you use? The latest is 5.6.2.0.

Hi

I guess there is no problem in the device manager as we are not able to configure from CLI also.

Hello,

Your Passport is running on L2 CPU redundancy.
If you enable layer 2 CPU redundancy you automatically disable layer 3 routing
operations on the switch and will be unable to configure routing parameters.
When you enable layer 2 CPU redundancy, both the primary and backup CPUs
synchronize their database structures following initialization. This process, which
takes a little time, need only be performed on initialization.

Go to menu Edit, Chassis and the tab L2 Redundancy and disable it.
