I am using Access 2013
I have a form for employees that contain name, badge #, email, rank, division, unit, extension, voice mail, cell #, auth code, classification. I have it linked to an external excel document where I keep their cell phone numbers.
I am not able to add new record within the form.
I am able to add a new record within the table though.
I believe it could be a join issue or a relationship issue?
I have attached a screen shot of the relationships.

I am self taught for access, so I'm sure I have missed some steps.

Thank you.

Because of the link to Cell Assignments the query is not updateable. You could add a subform for Cell info.

Thank you. I created a subform instead and can now add records.

Thank you - an oversight on my part. Gave MajP and star.
