Hi all,
This is not a problem as such as the DTS package works and does all that is required, but more of a bug up my bum.
I'm editing a package that has 40 odd connections and for each one I have to go and add a field to the transformations. The field is recognised in the script and in the output Excel file, but every connection I change I get a the error box up saying "There was a problem retrieving the list of Transformations" - click on OK and it's fine.....see the new field in the script and in the spreadsheet, do the new field mapping, same error message, close windows, same error message.
Thing is it all works and shows the transformations and does save whatever i do - it's just a pain in the butt that this warning keeps coming up. Anyone experienced it before?
I am logged onto the server (so not changing remotely) as the account running SQL and agent AND the creator of the package.
Like i say, it all works, but getting this warning evey time I breath near the keyboard.
Any help welcomed to relieve my number of keystrokes required to get these 40 odd scripts and mapping done.
Cheers,
M.
