IS-IT--Management
Hello all. I'm fairly new to Norstar community, having only programmed larger systems (options 11C-81C) previously, and am still trying to get my bearings on the Norstars as configurations and programming are done completely different.
Here's the scenario: our company has Norstar, and Norstar voicemail, along with an auto attendant and CCR (that I somehow managed to setup). However, users need to be able to check their voicemail messages from home. This service used to be in place before the voicemail hard drive crashed and was replaced - this was BEFORE I came on board. Now, the access extension for voicemail - x258 - is only accessible internally. When testing externally, I get the auto attendant, then dial 258 and I get a recording saying "that is not a valid extension".
QUESTION: How to setup/reconfigure the voicemail access number for external access?
Thanks...
