Can you backup an MICS 1.1, upgrade the software to 4.1 or above, and restore the programming?

nope only can restore to same release...if you need to go back you can restore to old release

An awkward but effective way is to print configuration of R1T1 with N* Manager, then transfer info by PC/hand to a 4.1 excel work book, then upload. This will allow you to make a large programming change with a short down time.

For an upgrade to 4.1 you need to go to 3 first. That in-between step, will get you the ability to do a backup with NRU.
