We are in the process of upgrading our Norton from 7.6 to 8 Corporate version.
We are using a Novell 5.0 server for the login/update server. The login script seems to work, except on any 98 machines, it runs the VP_Log32 batch file(dos window), and the message displays that there is a newer version on the server and it will update. After a few minutes, the following error message comes up:
You must quit this program before you can quit Windows.
Click OK to quit, or Cancel to return to Windows and Continue.
If you click OK, then an End Task box comes up.
The Update seems to work, but it would be prefferable to not have the error messages so that the end users don't freak out when they appear.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
