I have a similar problem, if you look at the thread I started on 17 January. I get the same LU number, but a different error message. (I have NAV 2004.) My conclusion is that NAV is a lousy product, and Symantec support don't know what they're doing. I am going to try uninstalling and reinstalling in a couple of days to see if that helps. I'll keep you posted.

but I've already re-installed it recently and not doing it again. Appeares this error relates to a program that is involved in registering the software only so doesn't make you more vulnerable to a virus. Be interested to see if it fixes yours.
