Norton Security Scan

I just downloaded and installed (kind of by accident) Norton Security Scan (see )

It seems to be a free, run on demand A/V scanner. The site says you can use it along with Norton A/V, but I'm wondering if there is any advantange too it. I'm thinking of removing it since I have Norton A/V installed. Any thoughts?

Never mind. I got an answer from Symantec. The Secruity Scan is redundant.
