Norton security pro 2004 script error

Hi, i wonder if anyone here could shed some light on a very very annoying issue. Im running NIS2004 pro, with WinXP pro SP2. Upon re-installing NIS2004 after previously uininstalling it, i cannot complete the configuration wizard, as there is a script error everytime it starts. Thus i cant use any of the features on NIS2004 properly. Ive tried in vain to solve the problem, but to no avail. Does anyone here know of a solution? Thanks very very much in advance!
