Norton Quarantine Problem

Over the past few weeks ive noticed that ive been having a lot of errors caused by files inside the Norton Antivirus Qurantine folder. Upon Having a closer look i noticed that there seems to be over 7.0 GB worth of files inside my qurantine, up to 450,500+ files.

This seems quite strange to me, and i was wondering if anyone has any info or ideas on what i could do to solve this issue.

I had the same problem this morning. Find your quarantine file , usually C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\Norton Antivirus\Quarantine. Go to properties on the quarantine folder, uncheck read-only, delete the quarantine folder. Make a new quarantine folder in the same location to avoid problems with Norton.
