I have win xp, and everytime i try to run any norton product mainly such as norton antivirus and norton internet firewall it cuts off my interent. As soon as i uninstall them my internet returns and everything is fine. But whenever i reinstall them they crash as soon as they load at windows startup, i can see them appear in the taskbar for a second but then disappear. I've tried both version 2002 and 2003 of norton and on both instances they crash. Any help would be appreciated.
Note: Norton antviirus, and internet security 2002 both worked on my computer for more than a year before this problem occured.

FWIW,
I reinstalled XP home in January, added SP1 and other updates, then installed Norton 2003 PF and AV. I have had no problems with them. I have read that it is very important to delete any and all traces of prior installs before installing them, and that add/remove programs doesn't get rid of all the pieces. Have you asked Norton for help?
