Norton internet security with VPN?

Hi there

I've always had been connecting to the company's VPN from home. Yesterday it worked fine.

Last night I installed the NOrton Internet Security and Norton Anti Virus.

This morning when I tried the VPN I got Error 800: unable to establish the vpn connection.

Does it sound like the problem is due to Norton's suite of products? I can actually use my browser to browse the content of the VPN over the internet, I just can't make a connection to it.

I have not used Norton before so I have no idea what I did or what needs to be done to fix this.

Any help is greatly greatly appreciated, otherwise I'll be spending the whole weekend fighting it.

I have seen similar problem. Try adding the VPN net to the trusted networks.

Also check the Norton security log, is it blocking UDP port 500 or ESP traffic??
