Hey,
I hope this is in the correct forum.
I purchased Norton Internet Security 2006 not long ago now, and it started fine, starting on startup and updating, etc etc, just acting normally.
All of a sudden, it seems, it stops starting up at startup. I suspected a virus, so I downloaded the AVG free trial edition to perform a scan. However I wasn't able to connect to the Grisoft website to update it.
I recently downloaded Poker software (PokerStars), and when I went to open it, it said that the Norton Internet Security Firewall was stopping it from connecting to the PokerStars server. I thought this was strange as Norton had seemed to have been not working at all
As I cannot open up Norton Internet Security (as soon as I do, it stops responding), I cannot change any of the firewall settings.
So what would be the solution? Uninstall/reinstall? And if so, is it possible to download the software again from the Symmantec website? I've had a look and can't find a lot of help.
I hope someone will be able to help me here,
Cheers,
