I just purchased Norton IS 2005. Have not tried installing it yet. Would like to know if I can install only the AV portion of the product without installing the other components at this time. I also currently use Zone Alarm as my firewall. If I decided to install the full IS suite, do I need to uninstall Zone Alarm first, or can the two programs co-exist.

Good luck!! I'll be interested to know if you succeed. I can't do a simple complete install and I can't get any meaningful help.

Unless there is some hidden command line option, there isn't any way of installing just the AV portion. If you want to do that, it is better to exchange NIS for NAV.

The two firewalls might co-exist, but I wouldn't bet on it. Most likely, they will get in each other's way. It generally is not a best practice to run either two firewalls (or antivirus) on the same machine.
