NORTON integrator could not initialize the current frame class

I just installed Norton anti virus ,however when i double click on the icon it says:
NORTON integrator could not initialize the current frame class.Please make sure that U did not directly run the integrator.

There is also a constant unusual annoying hard drive activity (humming noise) that wont go away!

Any help would be appreciated!

That sounds bad, like a dying hard drive. First, backup anything important. Second, uninstall/reinstall Norton. But I'd be more concerned with the noise than the program problem.
