Hi,
We build and roll out a large number of Windows 2K Prof Machines using Ghost images. As part of this image we run the Norton Ghost Walker to generate a unique SID for the PC's in question based on their asset number.
We've found that after a given period of time a number of these machines reset their NETBIOS Names back to that of the original image dump. This in turn causing networking problems with dupliate PC names on the network.
Just wondering if anybody has seen this issue before, I've been doing quite a bit of work into this and have so far come up blank.
thanks in advance.
